TwoTen Winter Banquet Festivities
The Illini Lodge Winter Banquet will have a spirited fellowship for all in attendance for the annual recognition program. Along with the tasty steaks and fabulous rolls, Illini Lodge will have honors, prizes and awards for Arrowmen of all sizes. Plan now to be at the Beef House on Saturday, Jan. 9th, 2010 for a very special afternoon. Dinner is served at noon IL time, with Pre-Banquet Brotherhood starting at 11:00 AM CST. Paid pre-registration is required for the Winter Banquet. The fee for the banquet is $17.00 per person, due by December 30, 2009. The fee for the banquet after December 30 is $22.00 per person. No walk-ins, please.
Michael Beckman to speak at Winter Banquet
The special guest speaker for the 2010 Illini Lodge Winter Banquet will be the Central Region Chief Michael Beckman. As one of the top six officers in the national Order of the Arrow organization, Michael guides the decision making process for OA operations in 13 states in the Midwest. His Central Region duties oversee leadership training, national event planning, and promotional touring from West Virginia in the east to North Dakota in the west.
An Eagle Scout with a Silver Palm, Michael is a Vigil Honor member of Ku-Ni-Eh Lodge in his hometown of Cincinnati, OH, where he attends the College of Mount St. Joseph. His biography states that he enjoys art, video games, computers, bowling, baseball, rock climbing, traveling, and hanging out with my friends. This past year, Michael has served on the Philmont Trail Crew in New Mexico, been dunk-tanked in Wisconsin, educated arrowmen at the National Conference in Indiana, and played Lodgeball in Kansas.

Two Discount Options for Banquet Savings
Illini Lodge wants to provide a small discount for arrowmen and their families. Choose one of the two following options that will save you $2.00 off the normal fee.
Banquet Registration Details
Please pay attention to the dates for registration for the Illini Lodge 2010 Winter Banquet. Remember that all reservations must be accompanied by payment and there will be no walk-ins accepted at the door. The final reservation deadline for the Winter Banquet at the fee of $17.00 is Wednesday, December 30th, 2009. It is important to note that the Raymond Lee Scout Service Center will be closed starting December 24th through Jan. 3rd for year end inventory purposes. The final day to pay in person at the discounted fee is Wednesday, Dec. 23rd. Council staff members will be in the office from Dec. 28th to Dec. 30th to accept payments through the mail or over the phone with a credit card at (217) 356-7291, ext. 213. The late fee of $22.00 per person will begin on December 31st. All registration must be handled through the Raymond Lee Scout Service Center because there are no walk-in spaces available for the event. Brotherhood Social Hour
Join the festivities at the PBH of B for your chance to WIN! During the Pre-Banquet Hour of Brotherhood at the Beef House on January 9, committee booths of all lodge committees show off their talents and service with colorful displays. Many of the tables have awards or treats for participating arrowmen to enjoy! All dues paying lodge members will be entered into a drawing for Fabulous Prize Giveaways! The fun starts at 11:00 am Illinois time at the house of beef!

Your membership in Illini Lodge helps the Boy Scouts of America in many varied forms. Our Brotherhood of Cheerful Service donates time, service, manpower, and financial support to the Prairielands Council and its communities. Illini Lodge is the top supporting organization for the improvement of Camp Robert Drake programs and facilities. Your annual involvement fee helps to make it all happen. Please pay your dues! 2010 Lodge Plan Book
The 2010 edition of the Illini Lodge Plan Book is distributed to lodge members at the Winter Banquet each year. This guide to the local organization of the Brotherhood of Cheerful Service is a great resource for all arrowmen to be familiar with their involvement with the Order of the Arrow. The plan book details the history of the lodge, the goals for the upcoming year, and the people involved with the various segments of lodge administration. Get with the plan!
